     Finca “Santa Josefita” is named after the first owner of the estate, Mrs. Josefa Ariz, when it was established as a coffee farm back in the 1932. The farm is currently owned and managed by Lima y Socios, a family business with many years of experience in coffee production. Finca Santa Josefita is proud to have been awarded the Cup of Excellence 3 times! After harvest the cherry is taken from Finca Santa Josefita to Balcanes Mill, 2 km from Finca Santa Josefita, where it is patio dried for 18 days. Finca Santa Josefita is a member of the Cuzcachapa Cooperative, responsible for exporting their coffee. Finca Santa Josefita is certified by Rain forest Alliance, which observes the environmental, economic and social aspects of the coffee production. The farm conserves a natural rain forest, which is hundreds of years old and serves as a habitat for many diverse animal species. Keeping tight traceability controls for these coffees is also very high on the priorities of the Lima family.  In the cup we have delicate ripe red fruit notes of raspberries and blackberries, a honeyed sweetness and rich chocolate undertones.  There's a lot to explore and enjoy in this cup, especially if you are a fan of natural processed coffees.

We ship freshly roasted coffee Monday through Friday via UPS ground. Most orders placed before 2pm EST will ship same day.

Delayed, Lost or Stolen Packages 

We will do our best to help troubleshoot with you, but we
cannot control what happens when your package leaves the roasting
facility. Once the package has been picked up, it is out of our hands. 

Holidays, severe weather, carrier staff shortage and high package volumes are causing delays in package transit time. 

As a small business, we are unable to absorb the costs of
packages being lost in transit. We cannot refund orders that are marked
as delivered with a tracking number, even if a customer is stating they
haven’t received the package.

When checking out, *Please make sure your address is correct!*

In order to balance getting your coffee out to
you as quickly as possible with freshness of roast we ship all coffee as
ordered within one week of the roast date. We typically roast
Wednesdays and Fridays.

In our experience most coffees
taste best after a few days rest, and high quality coffees stay at peak
flavor up to six weeks post roast.
