This washed lot comes to us from Leonardo Henao, a passionate coffee producer from Santa Barbara, Antioquia. From a very young age, he discovered his love for coffee and has dedicated himself to working with high quality coffees. After winning the Cup of Excellence in 2020, he was forced to sell his farm two years later due to security issues in the region. Despite this setback, Leonardo’s passion for coffee and the land did not cease. Thankfully, an opportunity arose in 2024 that would allow him to acquire Finca El Jardin. Leonardo was able to return to farming and apply his many years of experience to cultivate the 15-hectare farm. With his tireless dedication, Leonardo aims not only to create exceptional coffees, but to share his experience and knowledge with other producers, thus contributing to the development of a richer and more diverse coffee culture.
This lot of the coveted Chiroso variety is at the same time approachable and exotic. It offers a sweetness of brown sugar, stone fruit and honey while also presenting some more delicate floral aromatics. We are honored to be offering this coffee from this cup of excellence winning producer and hope to carry his coffees for many years to come.
We ship freshly roasted coffee Monday through Friday via UPS ground. Most orders placed before 2pm EST will ship same day.
Delayed, Lost or Stolen Packages
We will do our best to help troubleshoot with you, but we
cannot control what happens when your package leaves the roasting
facility. Once the package has been picked up, it is out of our hands.
Holidays, severe weather, carrier staff shortage and high package volumes are causing delays in package transit time.
As a small business, we are unable to absorb the costs of
packages being lost in transit. We cannot refund orders that are marked
as delivered with a tracking number, even if a customer is stating they
haven’t received the package.

When checking out, *Please make sure your address is correct!*
In order to balance getting your coffee out to
you as quickly as possible with freshness of roast we ship all coffee as
ordered within one week of the roast date. We typically roast
Wednesdays and Fridays.
In our experience most coffees
taste best after a few days rest, and high quality coffees stay at peak
flavor up to six weeks post roast.
