We are excited and proud to offer this wonderful coffee with an illustrious pedigree!  We won this coffee in this year's Grounds for Health auction.  Grounds for Health is a nonprofit organization that has been providing free cervical cancer screening and other women's health services free of charge to those in coffee producing communities since 1996.  We have participated in this auction for many years, with the proceeds going to support their important cause.  This coffee comes from one of the most famous and quality driven farms in all of Guatemala, Finca El Injerto.  They are a fourth generation family farm that has helped establish and push forward the standards of quality and traceability in specialty coffee.  This lot is of a very unique variety called Maragogype which produces very large beans and was originally found in Brazil.  It has a wonderfully sweet flavor profile, with a lower to moderate acidity and some really unique savory and nutty notes that come and go as the coffee changes temperature from hot to cool.  We have always loved coffees from El Injerto and are ecstatic we were able to purchase some through this auction.  It's a great coffee to share with family and friends this holiday season while knowing that it's also in support of a great cause.

We ship freshly roasted coffee Monday through Friday via UPS ground. Most orders placed before 2pm EST will ship same day.

Delayed, Lost or Stolen Packages

We will do our best to help troubleshoot with you, but we
cannot control what happens when your package leaves the roasting
facility. Once the package has been picked up, it is out of our hands.

Holidays, severe weather, carrier staff shortage and high package volumes are causing delays in package transit time.

As a small business, we are unable to absorb the costs of
packages being lost in transit. We cannot refund orders that are marked
as delivered with a tracking number, even if a customer is stating they
haven’t received the package.

For UPS claims, please email us at georgio@georgioscoffee.com

When checking out, *Please make sure your address is correct!*

In order to balance getting your coffee out to
you as quickly as possible with freshness of roast we ship all coffee as
ordered within one week of the roast date. We typically roast
Wednesdays and Fridays.

In our experience most coffees
taste best after a few days rest, and high quality coffees stay at peak
flavor up to six weeks post roast.
