Diego Parra Beltrán runs Finca El Mirador alongside his siblings, a team of fourth-generation coffee producers passionate about the world of specialty coffee. The siblings have worked in many areas of the industry, first creating Diwan Coffee in 2017. Diwan Coffee was born out of the desire to build a family project as a brand of roast coffee and souvenirs with the aim of highlighting coffee culture, promoting the consumption of specialty coffee, and strengthening coffee identity. What started as a roasted coffee brand is now also a specialty coffee supply project that represents effort, family unity, and a shared passion for specialty coffee.
Around 2023, together with two friends, they founded Finca El Mirador, where they currently produce and process their own coffee. Each of the siblings plays a fundamental role within the company: Katherine is in charge of marketing, design, and sales, Diego leads logistics and coffee production, and Yessica is in charge of quality control, logistics, and supply. The farm reflects a growing movement among younger Colombian producers who are investing in variety selection, processing precision, and direct relationships with specialty buyers.
The Parra family's work and Finca El Mirador represents the continued evolution of Colombian coffee: rooted in generations of farming knowledge while embracing the innovation and experimentation that continue to push the country's coffee sector forward.
This single variety lot of Pink Bourbon showcases the potential of this very special region in Colombia with loads of sweetness and complexity unobscured by funky processing.  It is a classic washed lot showcasing a terroir and quality unmatched by most.

In order to balance getting your coffee out to you as quickly as possible with freshness of roast we ship all coffee as ordered within one week of the roast date.

In our experience most coffees taste best after at least a few days' rest, and high-quality coffees stay at peak flavor up to six weeks post roast.
